Contemporary approach to the emergency department management of pediatric asthma
Emergency department visits by children with acute asthma are a common occurrence. Emergency physicians should be skilled in the assessment, treatment, and proper disposition of these patients. This article provides guidance for a contemporary approach for handling asthma exacerbations in children.
